Bomb scare at Delhi airport forces grounding of two aircraft
New Delhi, Mar 17 (IBNS) Bomb scare on a Kathmandu-bound Nepal Airlines aircraft and a Bhubaneswar-bound Air India flight at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Thursday afternoon forced grounding the planes for thorough security check.
Reports said all the passengers and crew members of the two flights were deplaned and security checks were still going on.
The scare is thought to be based on hoax calls threatening that bombs were planted inside the aircraft.
