Mumbai, Feb 25 (IBNS) A 12-year-old boy in a Mumbai school on Tuesday reportedly jumped to death from one of the top floors of the school after a rebuke by his teacher, said media reports.

The sixth grade student of  New Horizon Public School in Navi Mumbai took the drastic step after he was scolded in the class by a science teacher, said reports.

Teachers of the school are being quizzed.

Parents said it should be investigated how the body could reach an open place to jump.

The boy jumped from the fourth floor of the school.
