BSF jawans catch trained falcon set free from Pakistan

New Delhi, Oct 20 (IBNS): Border Security Force (BSF) jawans have caught a trained falcon, believed to have been set free from Pakistan, near the international border in Anupgarh under Ganganagar district of Rajasthan, media reports said.

The reports quoted BSF sources as saying that the falcon, caught on Wednesday, was not found to be carrying any transmitter antenna, but it  is believed that the transmitter must have fallen while the bird was flying.

The bird has been handed over to forest department.

Few weeks ago, balloons with messages written in Urdu were spotted in a village in Punjab's Gurdaspur district.
