Budget: Rs.200 crores allocated for 'The Statue Of Unity'

New Delhi, July 10 (IBNS): Presenting his maiden Union Budget, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said an amount of Rs.200 crores has been allocated for the erection of Statue of Unity.

Jaitley said the government of Gujarat has embarked upon the mission to build the largest statue of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.

Sardar Patel stands as a symbol of unity of the country.

Jaitley said that the sum of Rs. 200 crores is being set aside to support the Gujarat Government in this initiative.
