New Delhi, May 30 (IBNS): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday raided Delhi Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Satyendar Jain's residence, prompting Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to question the intent of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The CBI raid was in connection with the hiring of a creative team for the PWD by the minister.

The CBI has also registered a case against Jain for violating rules in hiring architects for the PWD projects, report said.

The investigating agency has questioned the transparency of the allocation of works.

Reacting to the raid, Kejriwal tweeted, "What does PM Modi want?"
