CBI raids on Bengal chit fund company

Kolkata, Jan 17 (IBNS) The CBI on Saturday conducted raids in nine locations in West Bengal, including the office and residences of directors of Win Realcon chit fund company.

"Searches are being conducted at nine locations in West Bengal in the residential as well as official premises of Win Realcon and its directors," CBI sources said.

The searches were conducted in Barrackpore, Khardaha, Sodepur and Habra in North 24 Parganas district and several documents were seized.

Win Realcon is one of the several chit fund companies  against which the CBI has registered cases while probing the Saradha chit fund scam.

The case against Win Realcon slaps the charge of criminal breach of trust, cheating, criminal conspiracy and violation of Prize Chits and Money Circulation Scheme (Banning) Act on the company.
