New Delhi, May 6 (UNI) An in-house panel of the Supreme Court on Monday absolved Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi of sexual harassment allegations levelled by his former staffer.

Dismissing the complaint of the former staffer of the CJI, the in house panel, said in its report,"We don't find any substance in the allegations.'

Ranjan Gogoi  had earlier rejected sexual harassment allegations and even said that the judiciary is under threat.

He said the judiciary could not be made a 'scapegoat'.

"This is unbelievable. I don't think I should stoop low even to deny these allegations," the CJI has been quoted by NDTV.
