Congress attacks Narendra Modi over his Delhi Metro ride
New Delhi, Sept 21 (IBNS): The Congress on Friday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over travelling in a Delhi Metro train and asked whether the move was made due to the 'high fuel prices' in Delhi.
Modi travelled for 14 minutes on the Delhi Metro's Airport Express Line on Thursday.
The Karnataka Congress attacked the PM and said: "High Fuel prices in Delhi has forced @narendramodi ji to use Delhi Metro? Or one more election jumla?."

After traveling in the train, Modi had posted several images of his trip on the Twitter page.
He had captioned it as: "Travelled on the Delhi Metro to Dwarka, and on the way back. I had gone there to lay the foundation stone for a state of the art convention centre. Here are pictures from the Metro."

In the images Modi shared on the social media, he could be seen interacting with his co-passengers.
The Congress has been attacking the Centre over the issue of increasing fuel prices in recent times.
The party even joined in a nation-wide strike called by several opposition parties to protest against the rising prices of fuels last week.
