New Delhi, Mar 9 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday taunted the Congress on the floor of the Parliament and said it 'never gets bad name'.

"When we criticise the Congress, it is reported as - criticism on Opposition, not criticism on Congress. Congress never gets a bad name," Modi said in the Rajya Sabha.

He also emphasised  on the importance of the Question Hour in the Parliament.

Modi said: "This is the Upper House. There are stalwarts in this House and  what happens here influences other assemblies as well."

He urged the Rajya Sabha to pass those bills passed in the Lok Sabha as soon as possible and give 'impetus' to India's progress.

"We have focussed on policy-driven governance and given an importance to transparency," Modi said on his government.

"We are focussing on accountability. I am reviewing infra projects & am seeing projects are stalled for decades," he said.

Modi said 'decentralisation' is the third aspect of good governance.
