Congress releases booklet on Kejriwal's U-turns as Delhi CM

New Delhi, Jan 19 (IBNS): The Congress party on Monday launched a booklet on the 'U-turns' made by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal during his 49-day tenure as Delhi Chief Minister.
The booklet called '49 Dino Ki Ultee Chall, Dilli Hui Behal: U Turn Kejriwal' has been launched just ahead of the Delhi Assembly polls.

The booklet contents several  promises which were left unfulfilled by the former Delhi CM.

It deals on issues that Kejriwal criticised but embraced the same later.

There is also a copy of an affidavit that was signed by Kejriwal before taking charge as the CM.

The booklet cites a list of things that the AAP chief promised that he will not avail as the CM.

"He said he won't use the red beacon cars. He didn't use it but people all around him used it. He said he won't need security but availed additional security claiming that there were threats, Congress Delhi election campaign chief Ajay Maken said while releasing the book.

Maken also said that Kejriwal had promised that he will not take the CM bungalow but in the end took an 8-room lavish home for his stay during his tenure.

The Congress party also filed a complain with the Election Commission against Kejriwal for creating a row by asking voters at a rally to take money from both the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) but vote for AAP in the upcoming Assembly elections.
