| @indiablooms | Dec 07, 2019, at 03:13 pm

Lucknow/UNI: Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav, who is on a 'dharna' outside the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly to protest against the Unnao rape case, on Saturday demanded the dismissal of the state government and said the daughters were not safe in the state.

The SP president alleged that neither were women safe, nor respected in the state. "Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's government does not listen to the women. The government only raises slogans about good future of the women," he said.

He further alleged that  women would not get justice until the time BJP government was in power.

"Atrocities have increased on the daughters of the state which has angered the people of the entire country," he stated.

SP state president Naresh Uttam and former minister Rajendra Chuadhary were also present with the Mr Yadav.
