Delhi: A 23-year-old woman, who had accused the son of a Rajasthan minister of rape, came under ink attack on a south Delhi road on Saturday, media reported.

Two men threw a "blue liquid" when she was walking with her mother near Kalindi Kunj road and fled, NDTV reported citing police officials.

The woman has lodged an FIR with the police after the incident.

She was taken to AIIMS Trauma Center for a thorough examination, police officials told NDTV.

The woman had filed a case with Delhi Police accusing Rohit Joshi, son of Rajasthan minister Mahesh Joshi, of rape.

The Delhi Police had sent a team to Jaipur to arrest the accused, last month, but he was not found at his home.

However, Rohit Joshi appeared in front of the police yesterday after securing an anticipatory bail from a Delhi Court.

According to the complaint, the minister's son had raped the woman multiple times between January 8 last year and April 17 this year and also promised to marry her.

The complainant said she had developed a friendship with Rohit Joshi over Facebook last year and had been in contact since then.

She also alleged that the minister's son had kidnapped and blackmailed her.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has dismissed the possibility of any action against the father of the accused, arguing that there was no allegation or charge against the minister.
