Delhi Police arrests 2 for acid attack on lady doctor

New Delhi, Dec 25 (IBNS): Two people were arrested on Thursday by the Delhi Police in connection with the acid attack on a lady doctor in the city on Tuesday.
Unknown miscreants had threw acid on a woman doctor in the national capital resulting in causing severe burn injuries to the victim.
 
She was riding her scooty when she was attacked in the Rajouri Garden area of Delhi.
 
The doctor was riding her scooty while she was attacked by two men, who were on a bike trying to snatch her purse.
 
The victim is admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. 
 
She has suffered burns on face and mask. 
 
A case has been registered under sections of attempt to murder.
 
The incident was caught on two CCTV cameras installed in the street.
 
Footages of the same were scanned by the police to identify the accused.
