New Delhi, May 16 (IBNS): With the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) all set to form the next government in New Delhi with a clear majority and under the Prime Ministerial ship of Narendra Modi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said the results in Delhi disappointed him.

"The results in Delhi was disappointing. We could have done better," Kejriwal said who lost to Modi in Varanasi.

However, putting up a brave face, he said, "This election was not ours, we provided a platform but we never had the resource to fight this election."

"Whatever the people have decided, we accept it as people's verdict. We never expected AAP will bag 4-5 seats in Punjab while it was disappointing in Delhi.

Trends on Friday showed a NDA government in New Delhi under Narendra Modi is now almost a reality.
