Don't regret calling Modi a psychopath : Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi, Dec 29 (IBNS) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said that he did not regret calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a "coward and a psychopath" after the CBI raid on his offices earlier this month.

"I don't regret anything. I accept I use bad language, I speak from the heart," the Delhi Chief Minister said in an exclusive interview to NDTV.

"The PM uses flowery language...but your acts are bad."

Kejriwal accused the ruling BJP of using all central agencies to target him and declared: "Kejriwal is not scared of the CBI, order any inquiry against me."

Challenging the CBI to "send 100 officers to the Delhi Secretariat and look into every file in my office", the Chief Minister reiterated that the reason for the raid was a file on details of alleged corruption in Delhi's cricket body DDCA (Delhi and District Cricket Administration), which was headed by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for 13 years till 2013.

"Mr Jaitley was repeatedly told many times about the corruption, but no action was taken. He was president for 14 years and such a scam took place on a large scale. The moment we say there is corruption in DDCA, Mr Jaitley filed a defamation suit against us," he said.

When it was pointed out that Arun Jaitley was never named in connection with any corruption in the DDCA,  Kejriwal said those who investigated the cricket body said there were wrongdoings but never named anyone.

"It is almost like no one killed Jessica Lal. There was corruption, but ghosts did it,"  Kejriwal said..

He also alleged that a senior journalist told him that his wife was told by a DDCA official to "come at night" if they wanted their son to be in the Delhi cricket team. The journalist, he said, was ready to testify at an inquiry. But Mr Kejriwal offered no proof of the allegation.
