Earthquake hits Afghanistan, tremors felt in Pakistan, north India

Kabul/New Delhi/ Islamabad, Nov 23 (IBNS) An earthquake measuring 6 on the Richter Scale hit Afghanistan on Sunday, officials said.

The epicentre of the quake was felt at latitude 36.5 degrees north  and longitude 71.6 degrees east in the Hindukush region at 23:46 pm.

The IMD has called the intensity of the earthquake as 'Moderate'.

Tremors were also felt in Pakistan and parts of India like Delhi, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir.

No casualty has been reported so far.
