Easy visa process for Indians says UK PM Theresa May

New Delhi, Nov 7 (IBNS): British Prime Minister Theresa May, who is on an official tour to India, said on Monday that UK already has a easy visa process for Indians and there is no need for further relaxation, according to media reports.

"But Mrs May announced the UK would make it easier for wealthy Indian business executives to come to the UK," reported the BBC.

The Great Club -- a bespoke visa and immigration facility -- will be offered to select high net worth individuals from India and their families.

Indians on work visas will be able to join the Registered Travellers Scheme, which will enable them to get through the UK border controls more quickly, BBC reported.

Prime ministers Narendra Modi and Theresa May met on Monday in New Delhi for bi-lateral talks.
