Eight members of marriage party killed as car collides with tractor in Bihar

At least 8 members of a marriage party were killed and some others injured when the car in which they were travelling collided with a cement-laden tractor under Pasraha police station area here on Monday.

According to police, the victims were returning from Mohanpur Dhamara village under Chautham police station area after attending a marriage ceremony. Suddenly their car collided with a cement laden tractor on National Highway-31.

At least eight people died in this accident and some other sustained injuries.

The deceased have been identified as Aman Kumar (19), Monu Kumar (11), Anshu Kumar (22), Gautam Kumar (10), Prakash Singh (60), Bunty Kumar (22), Paltu Thakur (65) and Dilon Kumar (5).

The injured were admitted to Khagaria Sadar Hospital.
