Encounter on in south Kashmir, 2 jawans injured
Srinagar, May 19 (IBNS) A fierce gun battle is going on between security forces and militants in South Kashmir's Shopian district in Jammu and Kashmir, police sources said on Tuesday.
On specific information about the presence of some militants at Lonepora village in Heff Shirmal area of the district, Army’s 55 RR and SOG cordoned off the whole area.
Two soldiers were injured in a gun battle on Tuesday between the security forces and separatist guerrillas in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, an official said.
