Kolkata, Feb 6 (IBNS): A fire broke out in a commercial multi-storey building near Ruby connector under Kasba Police Station limits in south-east Kolkata on Wednesday morning, reports said.

According to reports, the fire was seen in a bike showroom located on the first floor of the multi-storey.

As many as four fire tenders and local police rushed to the spot and firemen fought for nearly half an hour to bring the blaze under control.

State fire and emergency services officials said that none was injured in the accident while a firefighter fell sick due to heavy smoke during the operation and he was rushed to hospital.
