Mumbai, May 10 (IBNS): A four-storey building in South Mumbai's Kalba Devi area collapsed after a fire broke out there on Saturday, killing two firemen, reports said.
At least five people, including senior fire officials, were also injured in the fire.

The building named Gokul Nivas, which collapsed after the fire broke out, was hundred years old. Some portions of the building were also undergoing repairs.

While the cause of the fire are not known yet, firemen said there was probably no one inside when the building collapsed.

The fire broke out around 4 pm on Saturday. At least five fire engines were there to tackle the situation.

The building had some residential apartments on the fourth floor. It housed cloth godowns and shops on the lower floors.
