Fire in Mumbai's iconic Metro House building

Mumbai, June 2 (IBNS) According to latest media reports, fire broke out at the Metro House in the Colaba area of Mumbai around 4pm on Thursday.

The building houses the iconic Cafe Mondegar and a McDonalds restaurant besides other shops. It is near the Regal Cinema.

The area is usually congested with pavement hawkers and tourists besides local shoppers.

According to NDTV, two people were rescued from the building. No casualty has been reported so far.

12 fire tenders have reached the spot. But the fire is still not under control reported the media.
