Former Minister of State E Ahamed suffers cardiac arrest,PM enquires about health

New Delhi, Jan 31 (IBNS): Former Minister of State E Ahamed has suffered cardiac arrest,

He reportedly collapsed in the Parliament when President Pranab Mukherjee was addressing  both Houses of Parliament in the central hall.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has enquired about his health.

"PM @narendramodi enquired about the health of MP Shri E Ahamed," PMO India tweeted.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also wished for his speedy recovery.

"Just heard about hospitalization of E Ahmed ji. I wish him a speedy recovery," Banerjee tweeted.
