Four killed, five injured as bridge collapses in Nagaland

Guwahati, July 11 (IBNS): At least four people were killed and five others injured when a bridge collapsed in Nagaland's Dimapur on Tuesday evening, officials said.

The incident took place at 4th Mile area on the way to Niuland Dimapur near the Christian Institute Health Sciences and Research (Referral) hospital.

Dimapur Police Commissioner Limasunep Jamir said that in the bridge collapse incident four people including two women died and five others injured.

"Several vehicles also damaged in the incident," the top police official said.

Meanwhile, police and district administration officials rushed to the area.
