Four ministers to accompany Nepalese PM on India visit
Kathmandu/UNI: Nepalese Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will be accompanied by four ministers, including Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka, on his four-day official visit to India, beginning on Friday.
A cabinet meeting held in Baluwatar finalized the names of the ministers. Besides Khadka, the others are Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Mahendra Raya Yadav and Minister for Health and Population Birodh Khatiwada.
Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.
The visit comes as new Nepali Ambassador to India, Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma, has moved to the Nepalese embassy in New Delhi.
Earlier, on March 25, at a special function organised at the office of the Nepalese President, Sheetal Niwas, President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered oath of office and secrecy to Ambassador Dr Sharma.
President Bhandari on the recommendation of the government had appointed Dr Sharma as the Nepali Ambassador to India on March 20.
