Ghaziabad (UP): A man in Ghaziabad has accused his wife of attacking him with a knife after he tried to stop her from making obscene reels on Instagram.

The complainant, Anis, alleged that his wife, Ishrat, frequently created pornographic reels and turned violent whenever he objected, India Today reported.

“She not only threatened to implicate me in false cases but even attacked me with a knife once,” Anis was quoted as saying by India Today.

He claimed to have submitted video evidence of the incident to police, showing the alleged attack.

According to Anis, his wife’s behaviour had long been troubling.

He accused her of “relations with other men” and said she spent most of her time on the phone or social media, neglecting household duties.

He further claimed that whenever questioned, she became aggressive, threatened suicide, and warned of framing him and his family in false cases.

Anis added that his wife had earlier called the police on him, resulting in a challan and even imprisonment.

“Now I have been thrown out of my own house. My wife and her family are constantly threatening to kill me and trap me and my family in fake cases,” he alleged, the report said.

ACP Loni, Siddharth Gautam, confirmed that a case had been registered.

“On August 28, 2025, an FIR was lodged at Loni Police Station based on thecomplaint filed by Anis. The video evidence clearly shows the wife attacking him with a knife and issuing threats. All aspects of the case are being investigated thoroughly, and legal action will follow soon,” the ACP was quoted as saying by India Today.
