Panaji, Jan 12 (IBNS): Sparking off a controversy, Goa Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar on Monday said that his government is contemplating to set up centers to make Lesbians, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender (LGBT) youths "normal."
Tawadkar was quoted in media saying that the LGBT youths will be trained and administered medicine in order to make them 'normal'.

He made this comment while speaking at an event held to launch Goa State Youth Policy, 2015.

"According to the policy, the stigmatised LGBT community has been listed as a target group along with juvenile offenders and drug addicted youth," CNN-IBN reported.
