Gujarat: Nursing student bleeds to death after sex, boyfriend arrested

A 23-year-old nursing student after she suffered heavy blood loss following sex with her boyfriend in a hotel room in Gujarat.

According to reports, the boyfriend continued to search for remedies over the internet when the girl continued to bleed profusely following their intimacy.

Police have arrested the boyfriend.

The woman succumbed to her injuries when she was taken to hospital.

Her postmortem revealed that the bleeding resulted from a serious injury to her genital area during sex, which led to her death, reported India Today.

District Superintendent of Police Sushil Agarwal confirmed to the Indian news channel that the man has been charged under Section 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 238 (causing evidence to disappear) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The case is further being investigated.
