Helicopter carrying four passengers crashes in Mumbai, pilot dead

Mumbai, Dec 11 (IBNS): A helicopter crashed in Mumbai’s Aarey Colony on Sunday leaving three people injured and one dead, media reports said.

The crash reportedly took place  at 11.30 am but the fire brigade was called at 12.19 pm.

Those injured in the crash were rushed to Seven Hills hospital.

Pilot Praful Mishra was declared dead on arrival at the hospital due to extensive burn and trauma injuries.

Three others have also sustained injuries and are critical.

According to reports, the chopper has been completely burnt.

Three fire engines have been rushed to the spot trying to douse the flames.

The helicopter was carrying two crew members and two passengers.
