New Delhi, Jan 15 (IBNS) Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Friday will hold a high level meeting to review the developments in Pathankot Air Force base which came under terror attack, and strengthening security there, reports said.

National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi and Border Security Force Director General DK Pathak will also participate in the meeting.

Seven military personnel were martyred in the audacious terror attack on the Pathankot air base. Six terrorists were eliminated after a three-day long battle.

The Government was in for sharp criticism from different quarters following the attack. Allegations were made that there was little coordination between the Army and the National Securith Guards which led to high casualty on the Indian side.

The Government as well as the Army, however, denied the allegations.
