I believe in work, not in propaganda: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar

Patna/UNI: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Monday that he believes in work and not in propaganda.

While addressing the trainee officers of Indian Administrative Services Nitish Kumar said that the IAS officers play an important role in execution of government policies.

He said that after coming to power on Nov 24 , 2005 he was working for overall development of Bihar and introduced schemes to improve health infrastructure, education and concentrated on controlling law and order.

Kumar said that his government provided 50 percent reservation to the women in Panchayat and Civic body elections.

Kumar also elaborated the success stories of Jeevika and said that more than 10 lakh Jeevika groups were constituted in the state following which the women folk were becoming self dependent. He also spoke in detail about the bicycle and uniform scheme introduced for the girls.

He also elaborated about the seven resolves mission part 2 which was launched in the state along with the Jal Jivan Hariyali mission.

He also spoke in detail about other schemes aimed at improving the infrastructure across the state, control law and order and total prohibition.

Kumar asked the trainee IAS officers to get the information about all schemes and various functions of the government and hoped that the new officers would put in hard labour during their tenure.
