IAF's Jaguar fighter aircraft crashes 13 Kms away from Allahabad

New Delhi, June 16 (IBNS): Indian Air Force (IAF)'s Jaguar fighter aircraft crashed 13 Kms South- East of Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.
Both pilots were ejected safely.
 
The plane which had taken off at 7:25 am from Allahabad was on a routine training sortie.
 
A court of inquiry has been ordered to probe the incident.
 
"One IAF Jaguar trainer aircraft took off at 0725 hrs from Allahabad and crashed 13 Kms South- East of Allahabad, today.  The aircraft was on a training sortie and  both the pilots ejected safely at about 0847 hrs.  A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate into the cause of the accident," a government statement said.
