Income Tax Raids Underway in 15 places of UP, Delhi

New Delhi, May 24 (IBNS) : Income Tax officials conducted simultaneous raids at premises of several high ranking bureaucrats in 15 places across Uttar Pradesh and Delhi on Wednesday morning, reports said.

The raids being conducted in Meerut, Baghpat, Nodia and Ghaziabad besides Delhi, are still on.

According to reports, raids are underway in the premises of Vima Sharma, Additional CEO, Noida Authority, former Baghpat District Magistrate Hrinath Tewari .

Income Tax department sleuths are the residence of former Ghaziabad District Magistrate (DM) Vimal Sharma, who currently is the additional CEO, Noida Authority and Meerut  range Road Transport Officer (RTO) Mamta Sharma, among others.
