New Delhi/IBNS: The 13th round of high-level military talks between India and China commenced on Sunday in an attempt to take further the disengagement process in remaining friction points along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.

The talks are being held at Moldo on the Chinese side, opposite Chushul, media reports said.

The talks will reportedly focus on an agreement for the next phase of disengagement from Hot Springs and the overall de-escalation in eastern Ladakh.

Earlier, India had rejected fresh allegations by China as the latter blamed New Delhi for the border disturbances in Eastern Ladakh over a long period of time.

India and Chinese representatives have held several rounds of talks last year ever since the Galwan conflict took place.

India and China were locked-into border standoff for over nine months at several locations in the eastern Ladakh.

The standoff had even led to violent brawl in the Galwan Valley on June 15, where 20 Indian troops were killed in the action with Chinese soldiers.
