New Delhi: Taking a jibe at Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's comment on millennials' preference of app-based cabs over cars, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said India does not need foolish theories about millennials but a concrete plan to fix the slumping economy.
Rahul tweeted, "What India needs isn’t propaganda, manipulated news cycles & foolish theories about millennials, but a concrete plan to #FixTheEconomy that we can all get behind. Acknowledging that we have a problem is a good place to start."

Drawing witty comments and sarcasm from the millennials, Sitharaman days ago said the mindsets of millennials were adversely affecting the automobile industry.
"There are a number of factors behind the falling economy. One of the factors is that the millennials prefer ola and uber (app-based cabs) over EMIs to buy cars," the Finance Minister had said.
Following the comment, several millennials had started #BoycottMillennials on Twitter and made sarcastic replies to Sitharaman's comment.
