Indian economy is not in a good state: Manmohan Singh
New Delhi, Jan 30 (IBNS): Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday said the current situation of Indian economy is not good.
"That the Indian economy is not in a good state is obvious," he said while addressing a press conference here.
"Even IMF has downgraded our GDP growth to below 7%," he said.
Singh made the remark days before the Centre is gearing up to present its Union Budget.
The Centre on Nov 8 had made a major move when it banned old Rs 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes.
