Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla visits Bangladesh

Dhaka: Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla is currently on a visit to Bangladesh, officials said on Tuesday.

He will visit the neighbouring nation from August 18 to Aug 19.

 The Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement: "Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Foreign Secretary of India is on a visit to Dhaka from August 18-19 2020, to discuss and take forward cooperation on matters of mutual interest."

An Indian Air Force plane carrying Shringla landed at the Dhaka airport at around 11.30 am on Tuesday, reports bdnews24.

The Indian official is visiting Bangladesh for the second time since he was appointed as the foreign secretary.
