India's Tejas makes history in Bahrain: Govt
New Delhi, Jan 17 (IBNS): The Indian government on Sunday said Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, which is indigenously designed and developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has created record by flowing in foreign airspace to participate in the Bahrain International Airshow-2016.
The air show will be held from Jan 21-23.
"In addition to Tejas, DRDO is also showcasing other indigenously developed defence systems to display the nation’s prowess in the area of advanced defence technologies with the aim of exploring the potential for export of defence systems and equipment," read a government statement.
