Indo-Pak soldiers exchange greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr
Srinagar, July 29 (IBNS) In a display of border amenity, soldiers from both India and Pakistan at international borders in Jammu and Kashmir exchanged sweets to mark the Muslim festival of Eid-ul-Fitr on Tuesday.
A brief ceremony was organized at Kaman Post Uri in north Kashmir and Tithwal at Tangdhar as officers and soldiers on both sides greeted each other on the auspicious occasion.
They also exchanged sweets and pleasantries.
Meanwhile, another similar ceremony were held at Jammu border and exchanged greetings, a spokesman said.
