Kolkata, Nov 16 (IBNS): The Special Task Force (STF) of the Kolkata Police on Monday held second suspected Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence agent from Kolkata, reports said.

According to police reports, one suspect Zafar Khan, who had been detained earlier, was arrested by Kolkata Police's STF on Monday after long interrogation.

The STF on Saturday arrested suspected ISI agent Akhtar Khan from central Kolkata with several incriminating documents and fake Indian currency notes (FICN). He was produced in the Bankshall Court on Sunday and sent to police custody till Nov 29.

After interrogating Akhtar Khan, police have come to know about Zafar Khan and arrested him.

One STF official told IBNS: "Zafar Khan, who is Akhtar Khan's relative, used to assist Akhtar in spying. They stayed in Karachi together for years. Zafar has a passport of Pakistan. Besides spying, they used to recruit agents for ISI from the city and had expanded their network."

"After interrogating them, we have come to know about more suspects. We are searching for them," the officer further said.

Zafar Khan will be produced to the Bankshall Court on Tuesday.
