ISIS threat scribbled at Mumbai Airport

| | Jan 17, 2015, at 03:13 am
Mumbai, Jan 16 (IBNS): As the country is preparing for the Republic Day celebration, a scribble threatening a terror strike by militant group ISIS on Jan 26 was found in the men’s washroom of the Mumbai airport, media reports said.

According to reports, a ground handling staff found the message “Is 26/01/2015 is BOM OK?”

A plane is drawn next to the message which was found on Thursday.

"Found by ground handling staff in two washrooms in the arrivals section — one near the VIP lounge and the other near the Air India office near the staff gate (city side) — around 6.30 pm yesterday, both messages mention ISIS," Mid-Day reported.

Security has been beefed up in the airport following the incident.

“The terminal is already under watch after Air India received threat and hijack calls earlier this month. After the T2 message, security was beefed up and today’s messages will ensure that the security will be strengthened even further, especially on the city side,” a senior security official told Mid-Day.
