"The pilots were evacuated by locals and rushed to a hospital," sources told UNI.

Sources said later died in the hospital, reports said.

Police said after receiving the information, a team was dispatched to the area.

Indu Chib, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, told UNI, "As per initial reports, the helicopter made a precautionary landing but we are verifying the facts. We cannot confirm if the chopper crashed.'

Meanwhile Deputy Inspector General of Police (Udhampur-Reasi) Suleman Chowdhary told UNI
