Jammu and Kashmir: Encounter breaks out in Shopian
Shopian, Jan 22 (IBNS): An encounter is currently going on between security forces and suspected terrorists in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday.
Kashmir police said the entire area has been cordoned off.
The exact number of terrorists present at the spot is still not clear.
Kashmir Zone Police tweeted: "Exchange of fire between security forces & #terrorists at Heff Shirmal area in District #Shopian. Area under cordon. Details will follow. @JmuKmrPolice."
