Jammu and Kashmir: Police-Public meeting held in Sopore

Srinagar: As a part of public outreach programme, police public interaction meeting was held in Sopore at Police Station Bomai while following social distancing norms and other protocols.

In a statement police said that the meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Bomai and was attended by the respectable citizens of Zaloora, Sagipora and Yamberzalwari.

During the meeting, the participants highlighted various issues of public importance pertaining to police as well as civil administration.

The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.

The chairing officer briefed the participants about the precautionary measures to be followed for containment of Covid-19.

The participants were also stressed upon to ensure social distancing and wear masks in Masjids, public transport and markets and spell out all the directions and advisories to general public.
