Jan Dhan Yojana completes three years, PM Modi lauds scheme

New Delhi, Aug 28 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday lauded the Jan Dhan Yojana scheme, which completed three years.

Congratulating the people who have benefited from the Prime Minister's financial inclusion scheme, he said, "Today, Jan Dhan Yojana completes 3 years. I congratulate the crores of people, particularly the poor, who benefitted from this initiative."

He also hailed the initiative as a historic movement 'to bring the downtrodden and marginalised into the financial mainstream'.

Speaking about his government, he said that it has helped million of aspirants to dream big.

"Through Jan Dhan Yojana, social security schemes, MUDRA & stand up India, we have given wings to millions of aspirations. #JanDhanRevolution," the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister added, 'Our efforts to bring a qualitative & transformative change in the lives of the poor & marginalised continue with immense vigour."
