JDU Jharkhand state president Jhaleshwar Mahato joins Congress
New Delhi, Dec 29 (IBNS): JDU Jharkhand state president Jhaleshwar Mahato has joined the Congress.
The move has been made just six months before the Lok Sabha polls.
In an image posted on the Congress Twitter page, party president Rahul Gandhi could be seen welcoming Mahato the party.
"Congress President @RahulGandhi welcomes Shri Jaleshwar Mahato, President of Janata Dal (United), Jharkhand & former Cabinet Minister in Jharkhand to the Congress family," tweeted the Congress.

Lok Sabha polls will be held in 2019.
