JD(U) leader shot dead in Bihar's Samastipur
Samastipur, Sept 2 (UNI): A local JD(U) leader Sant Kumar Singh was shot dead by criminals at Mahthi village under Ujiyarpur police station area in bihar's Samastipur district.
Police said here that criminals opened fire on Singh late last night in Mahthi village, killing him on the spot.
He was also Manager of Customer Service Centre of State Bank of India (SBI).
"Raids were being carried out to nab the criminals," police said.
An FIR has been registered at a concerned police station in this connection.
