Jharkhand: 10 arrested for gang rape in Gumla

Gumla/UNI:  Police arrested 10 youth on the charges of gangraping two girls in Sadar police station area of this district.

Police said that all the accused were arrested from their homes in the wee hours of Saturday.

The culprits hail from Chota Khatanga and Bada Khatanga villages.

All the accused have confessed to the crime during interrogation, they added.

The incident took place on April 3, however, a complaint was registered with the police on April 5.

Post the incident all of the accused had fled from their villages only to come back later.

All of them are in jail, now.
