J&K Governor is another slave of Centre: Farooq Abdullah
Guwahati, Nov 22 (IBNS): Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference Chairman Farooq Abdullah on Thursday hit out at J&K Governor Satya Pal Malik and termed him as a slave of Centre.
Abdullah said in Guwahati that, the J&K Governor worked in direction of the Centre.
“I am very sad about his decision. The Governor dissolved the house as the ex Chief Minister had communicated to him. He is a slave of the Centre. When the Centre tells him to get up, he get up and when the Centre tells him to sit down, he sit down. I had a lot of hopes from the Governor, but he turned out to be another slave of the Centre. The post of Governor needs to be looked into,” Farooq Abdullah said.
The NC Chairman questioned the Governor of J&K that, why did he take five months time to dissolve the house.
“Why did he wait five months to dissolve the assembly? Why he was waiting for trading of MLAs for BJP government to be formed,” Farooq Abdullah said.
On the other hand, reacting over the BJP’s ‘terror-friendly’ parties remarks, Farooq Abdullah said that, when the PDP was in alliance with BJP, then PDP was not terror-friendly.
“When the NC, Congress and PDP come together, then we are all terrorists. I feel sad about it,” Farooq Abdullah said.
The veteran politician also hit back at BJP leader Ram Madhav and said that, the National Conference has never waited for Pakistan's signal.
Farooq Abdullah reiterated his controversial stand on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and said that, PoK is not a territory of India.
