New Delhi, Aug 21 (IBNS): Opposition leaders from Jammu and Kashmir met Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi here on Sunday.

They discussed the current situation in violence-hit Jammu and Kashmir..

The delegation of leaders was led by former state Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

"Discussed the current political crisis in J&K with a delegation of opp leaders from the state led by @abdullah_omar," Office of RG tweeted.

Kashmir has been in a turmoil for about one-and-a-half month with regular incidents of clashes between the local people and security forces taking place and a marathon curfew running all over disrupting normal life.
